New Kawasaki Ninja 300 Deliveries to Begin in India Soon: Kawasaki recently launched the BS6-compliant model of Ninja 300 sports bike in the Indian markets with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 3.18 lakhs. The bike has already started reaching dealerships across India and as per the latest details available, the deliveries are all set to commence in a few days. Here is the image posted by Kawasaki India on its official Facebook page:
Mechanically, the 2021 model continues to be powered by the same 296cc liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder, fuel-injected engine, which is now BS6-compliant. It is good for 39 HP @ 11,000 rpm and 26.1 Nm @ 10,000 rpm.
To jog your memory, the BS4 model of Ninja 300 was capable of offering maximum power of 39HP and a peak torque of 27Nm. So the power remains the same while the new model generates slightly less torque. The engine remains mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The MY2021 Kawasaki Ninja 300 is available in three colours in India: Candy Lime Green, Lime Green, and Ebony. The Ebony colour scheme features an all-black colour scheme with Ninja green highlights while the Candy Lime Green features a Ninja green fuel tank and engine cowl.
Coming to the Lime Green (KRT Edition), it features a Green, Black, and White colour scheme, which looks pretty impressive. Except for the new colours and updated BS6 engine, the 2021 Ninja 300 remains exactly the same.
The BS6 Kawasaki Ninja 300 would be competing with the likes of the 2021 Yamaha YZF-R3 and the Benelli 302R, which are also expected to launch in the Indian markets later this year. At present, the indirect rivals of the bike are TVS Apache RR 310 and the KTM RC 390.
