Kawasaki has recently revealed a teaser video of one of their upcoming motorcycles. Christened as Z H2, the supercharged roadster is expected to be debuted by the brand on October 23, 2019. Taking the styling cues from the Z1000, the Kawasaki Z H2 features a muscular fuel tank while the rear panel of the motorcycle gets a sweeping design flowing towards the back.
The brand has equipped the upcoming Z H2 with a split seat setup that sets it apart from the Z1000 though there aren’t many details offered in the teaser video, one can easily recognise the stoplight of the motorcycle featuring a “Z” shaped design. In addition to this, the teaser video of the motorcycle also reveals the side profile of the headlight which further gets a fly-screen at the front.
According to the previously released teaser video, the upcoming Z H2 is expected to get Kawasaki River Mark emblem on the fuel tank. The brand will be equipping the motorcycle with a LED headlamp setup while offering a fully-digital twin-pod instrument cluster. One can expect the brand to offer Bluetooth connectivity on their next flagship motorcycle though no details have been confirmed as of yet.
Based on a steel trellis frame, the Kawasaki Z H2 will be featuring a tweaked subframe while the air intake will be asymmetrically mounted. In addition to this, the motorcycle will feature a green mirror finish paint scheme to offer it a premium look.
The Kawasaki Z H2 is expected to get the same engine specifications as that of the Ninja H2. Powering the motorcycle will be a 998cc, in-line four-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 16-valve, DOHC engine with a supercharged motor.
The engine on the Ninja H2 is capable of generating a maximum power of 231 HP at 11,500 rpm and an utmost torque of 141.7 Nm at 11,000 rpm. The power and torque specifications will be tuned for the upcoming supercharged Z H2. The brand will be offering the motorcycle with a 6-speed gearbox mated to Kawasaki Quick Shifter.
The suspension duties will be handled by 43mm inverted forks at the front while the rear is expected to feature an adjustable Öhlins TTX36 gas-charged suspension. The motorcycle will feature disc brakes at either end with Brembo sourced callipers while the dual-channel ABS unit will ensure utmost safety on the roads.
