Keeway MBP F125 Makes Official Debut - To Rival KTM Duke 125

The MBP F125, a rival to the KTM 125 Duke, was unveiled by Keeway at the 2022 Intermot show in Cologne, Germany. While the displacement and body style is like Duke, there are a few differences that set the Keeway apart.

To begin, with a kerb weight of 140kg, the MBP F125 is approximately 19kg lighter than the 125 Duke. A 124.9cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine powers the bike. It produces around 15 bhp of ma power and 10.85 Nm of peak torque. Although the torque output is lower than that of the KTM, Keeway's power-to-weight ratio is higher.

The cycle parts are also as high-quality as those found on the 125 Duke. The MBP is fitted with 17-inch alloy wheels and tyres with 110-section and 130-section sections at the front and rear. Damping is provided by gleaming gold-finished upside-down forks and a preload-adjustable mono-shock. The braking system consists of a 240mm disc up front and a 220mm rotor at the rear.

Keeway MBP F125's most distinguishing feature is its design. It comes with a radical headlamp, a pointed tail section, and angular and contoured fuel tank extensions. All these features give it an aggressive and athletic stance. The motorcycle's fuel tank capacity is a respectable 14-litre.

Given Keeway's aggressive portfolio expansion in India. It is possible that the MBP F125 will come to our shores after its international debut. And we expect it to debut globally by the end of this year.
