2020 Kiden KD150-U Streetfighter Officially Revealed

Kiden Motorcycles, a Chinese motorcycle manufacturer has recently unveiled a street bike by the name KD150-U. The motorcycle has been equipped with a 149.8cc engine while the overall aggressive design language offered to the product makes it capable of competing with the premium brands in its segment.

Coming to the sharp design language of the KD150-U, there is one thing we all can agree upon is that the motorcycle is a sheer beast when it comes to the angular body panels as well as the unique colour schemes. The brand will be offering the bike in two colour options: grey with blue highlights and grey with red highlights.

The Kiden KD150-U has been equipped with a twin projector headlamp unit mated to LED turn indicators. The motorcycle features an LED taillight setup while gets an all-digital instrument console which offers apt riding statistics like battery status, fuel gauge as well as engine temperature.

Powering the KD150-U is a 149.8cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine that is capable to develop a maximum power of 17.5HP at 9000rpm and a peak torque of 16Nm at 7000rpm. The fuel tank capacity of the motorcycle stands at 12.5 litres.

The suspension duties on the KD150-U are handled by USD forks at the front and monoshock unit at the rear. The braking power is offered by disc brakes at either end mated to dual-channel ABS as standard. The brand has not yet disclosed the pricing of the Kiden KD150-U while it is highly unlikely to make an entry in the Indian motorcycle market.
