KTM 125 Duke Beats Honda xBlade 160 (Sales Report): KTM 125 Duke registered 2,199 units in the month of April 2019, beating the Honda xBlade 160, which was good for just 1,912 units during the same period. The price difference between both the bikes is huge enough to help xBlade get a much bigger sale number but, it seems like buyers are preferring other options like Hornet and Unicorn. The power output is very impressive at 14.5HP on the 125 Duke while xBlade benefits from decent weight and ample amount of torque.
The 125cc engine on the Duke is liquid cooled and fuel injected while xBlade uses carburettor and air cooling. Even the displacement difference between both the bikes could not save the xBlade as KTM 125 Duke is known to deliver a top speed of around 110-120 kph, depending on the rider’s weight.
The sales report for April 2019 brought many shocks into the industry as Honda is reducing the production in order to match the ongoing demand. On the other hand, Bajaj and KTM are posting positive sales for the majority of their products. KTM 125 Duke is available for INR 1.25 lakh and can be bought in three exciting shades, while the Honda xBlade 160 comes with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 88,200.
