KTM 125 Duke Price Increased Again: KTM 125 Duke recently got a price hike of INR 5000, taking the ex-showroom price higher by 4% in comparison to the last price. The new price tag of INR 1.30 lakh is truly shocking for a 125cc motorcycle as the street fighter was launched for an attractive INR 1.18 lakh worth price tag in November last year.
The price jump takes the 125 Duke closer to Yamaha MT-15 at INR 1.36 lakh, leaving just INR 6000 worth gap between both the premium motorcycles. The powerful Japanese rival is quite a value for money option in comparison to the KTM machine as 19.3 HP vs 14.5 HP is a big difference. Also, the former weighs much lesser than the KTM 125 Duke.
The possible reason for the price hike could be the upcoming launch of KTM RC 125 in India, with the brand expecting lesser price difference between both the bikes to justify the price difference between 125cc and 200cc bikes. Overall, the placement of KTM 125 Duke at INR 1.30 lakh is very shocking for most buyers.
