KTM has officially launched the 2017 Duke 200 and RC 200 in Nepal for NPR 444,900 and NPR 529,900 respectively. These prices are ex-showroom Kathmandu. 2017 KTM 200 Duke is using the same 199.5 cc, liquid cooled and fuel injected engine that produces a max of 25 PS and 19.2 Nm of torque. It is now offered in 3 shades namely Orange, Black and White.
KTM has kept the exposed frame in the Black shade only. The motorcycle still carries the same 6-speed gearbox with no slipper clutch on offer. KTM Duke 200 is not equipped with ABS in its 2017 version. While the bigger players get high tech features, the baby Duke remains calm with its same set of USD forks and rear suspension. It is the only Duke to come with the underbelly exhaust and claims the lightest dry weight in the whole lineup.

The engine on the motorcycle is now BS4 compliant and produces the same output as the earlier model. The All-Black approach of the RC200 has now been switched to White and Orange on the 2017 version.
The side fairing of the motorcycle is White while the connecting panel gets finished in Gloss Black. The fuel tank is now finished in White with Orange and Black stripe on the top. The rear panel below the seat now carries Gloss Black stickers on it. The motorcycle even gets 12 mm of added padding to the rear seat, making rides easier for the pillion also.
