KTM Duke 200 was recently showcased with a side exhaust at Indonesia International Motor Show. The unit seen here remains exactly same as one seen on production spec KTM Duke 250 and Duke 390. Most expected change with this exhaust is improved torque delivery and impressive sound.
They have kept the same old design for Duke 200 as one could have even expected KTM to showcase next gen design that matches KTM 250 Duke in all terms. They were offering discounts and offers on the show for almost entire lineup of products while special discount for KTM Duke 200’s exhaust was also available.
This also means that they were promoting the same as an accessory. Most probably, KTM will launch Duke 200 with all new design in India when fitting an exhaust becomes absolute necessity. It also makes sense as they will simply need to change the engine and keep all other things common between both bikes.
Starting price for Duke 200 is already high and getting the new update will take the price high by around INR 10,000. KTM 200 Duke is powered by a 199.5cc, single cylinder engine producing 25 PS and 19.2 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
