The 2020 BS6 KTM Duke 250 has been spotted for the first time while the official launch is expected to happen in the coming days. The updated model of the motorcycle will be available in two colours: Black with Light Grey and Black with Dark Grey/Orange. The Duke 250 moniker gets Silver accent in the former shade while the latter features the Duke 250 with Orange accents.
As of now, we don’t have any details regarding the power and torque values of the BS6-compliant model of the Duke 250. For reference, the BS4-compliant model of the streetfighter is good for 30 HP of maximum power at 9000 rpm along with 24 NM of maximum torque at 7500 rpm. The engine claims the best power-to-weight ratio among other options in the quarter-litre segment.
Apart from the addition of the BS6-compliant engine and the new colour options, the 2020 model of the motorcycle remains the same in terms of looks and style. As far the key features are concerned, the 2020 BS6 KTM Duke 250 continues to be equipped with 2-channel ABS, slipper clutch, side-mounted exhaust, upside-down forks and an aluminium swingarm.
As per one of the recent updates, the customers can avail the BS4 model of the Duke 250 across several KTM dealerships by exchanging their old two-wheeler. The dealership will calculate the estimated value of the old two-wheeler based on its condition, which will be further reduced from the price tag of the Duke 250.
In addition to the old bike exchange offer, the brand is also offering zero down payment options as well as low-interest finance schemes with the purchase of BS4 KTM Duke 250. The BS4 model of the motorcycle is currently available in the market at INR 1.97 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi) while the upcoming BS6 model is expected to get a price hike of around INR 10,000 to INR 12,000.
