The 2020 KTM Duke 390 with a BS6-compliant engine has been recently spotted at a dealership ahead of its official launch. The much-awaited motorcycle will now be available to the customers in multiple colour options as well as with a host of additional features. In addition to this, the on-road price tag of the updated motorcycle has also surfaced online.
Apart from the updated KTM Duke 390 with a BS6 engine, the brand will also be launching the BS6 KTM RC 390 in the coming days. Some reports also suggest that the Austrian brand has imparted all the updated 390cc range of motorcycle with a Quickshifter+ as standard.
For the ones not knowing the functionalities of a quickshifter+, it allows the rider to change the gears seamlessly and without much effort. The Quickshifter+ used on the KTM motorcycles is a bi-directional unit that performs the upshifts as well as downshifts seamlessly. It ultimately increases the safety and the comfort of the rider by eliminating the need to use the clutch.
Apart from this, the updated motorcycle has been been awarded new dual-tone colour schemes in addition to new graphics. Powering the 2020 KTM Duke 390 will be a BS6-compliant 373.2cc liquid-cooled DOHC single-cylinder engine.
Though the power and torque values of the updated motorcycle have not yet been revealed as of yet, one can certainly expect the performance figures to be tweaked a bit with the addition of a BS6-compliant engine.
At present, the BS4-compliant KTM Duke 390 is capable of offering maximum power of 43.5HP and a peak torque of 37Nm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed transmission mated to a slipper clutch. Here is the official price list of the 2020 KTM Duke 390.
