KTM India has recently released a video of its upcoming 2020 KTM RC range which is expected to be launched shortly. The brand is on a launch spree with the introduction of its updated BS6-compliant engine variants for its KTM Duke range while the updated RC portfolio is expected to feature vibrant designing based on the modern-day street-racers in the world.
According to the recently released teaser video, the 2020 KTM RC range will redefine your limits when it comes to racing while the vibrant colour schemes will be capable of getting major attention on the road.
The brand initially revealed new colour schemes for the 2020 KTM RC 125 and the RC 390 at the EICMA 2019 that was held in Italy in November 2019. The all-new KTM RC 390 with a BS6-compliant engine is expected to be available to the customers in the same white/black colour scheme with a dominating RC logo encrypted on the body fairing.
The authentic orange accents are carried onto the alloy wheels, front fairing as well as on the tubular trellis frame. In addition to this, the BS6 2020 KTM RC 390 is expected to feature a revised instrument panel while the overall design is also expected to be tweaked a bit.
Coming to the upcoming 2020 KTM RC 125, the motorcycle is expected to feature an all-new black/orange colour scheme with blacked-out components as well as orange detailing on the body panels.
Though there has been no official confirmation on the updated power and torque values of the 2020 RC 125, RC 200, and the RC 390, one can expect the BS6 engines to generate similar power and torque values in comparison to the respective BS4-compliant RC variants. At present, the BS4-compliant KTM RC 125 is powered by a 124.7cc engine that is good for a maximum power of 14.5HP @ 9250 rpm and a peak torque of 12Nm @ 8000 rpm.
The BS4 model of the KTM RC 200 is equipped with a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is capable of producing 25HP of maximum power @ 10,000 rpm with 19.2Nm of peak torque @ 8,000 rpm. On the other hand, the RC 390 with a BS4-compliant engine is powered by a 373.2cc engine that is capable of offering maximum power of 43.5HP @ 9000 rpm and a peak torque of 36Nm @ 7000 rpm.
Like the updated model of the Duke 200, the 2020 KTM RC 200 is also expected to get new colour schemes. In addition to the new shades, the updated model of RC 200 will also come equipped with a 2-channel ABS unit as standard. In terms of the pricing, the BS6 2020 KTM RC range is expected to get a premium ranging from INR 10,000 to INR 15,000 when compared to the last-gen BS4 versions.
