KTM recently unveiled two MY2022 bikes, the 250 Adventure and 390 Adventure, for the Indian two-wheeler market in December 2021. And now the brand has launched the 250 Adventure motorcycle in India officially with a price tag of Rs 2.35 lakh (ex-showroom). KTM has offered this quarter-litre premium motorcycle in two shades: Factory Racing Blue and Electronic Orange, and it is now available at all KTM authorised dealerships across the country.
The KTM 250 Adventure is designed for use on a variety of terrain. It is built on the same platform as the KTM 390 ADV and is designed with ergonomics and comfort in mind. Its design is inspired by the Dakar Racer KRM 450 Rally, and it features a lightweight, highly stable trellis frame and a bolt-on sub-frame. The motorcycle has 200mm of ground clearance, allowing it to easily handle any terrain. It rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, which are shod with tubeless tyres.
For braking, the bike gets a 320mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc from Bybre. These are used in conjunction with dual-channel Bosch ABS. It has USD forks upfront with 170mm of travel and a monoshock rear suspension with 177mm of travel. In terms of features, it gets a stylish LED headlamp with integrated LED daytime running lights.
In terms of powertrain, the 2022 KTM 250 Adventure continues with the same single-cylinder, 248.8cc, liquid-cooled engine, which is coupled with a six-speed gearbox and is capable of generating 29.5 bhp of max power at 9000 rpm and 24 Nm of max torque at 7500 rpm. The high-riding motorcycle features a sculpted 14.5-litre fuel tank, an all-digital display, split seats, a skid plate, and an LED taillight integrated into the narrow tail.
