It’s Official: 2017 KTM Duke Unveil on November 8 at EICMA 2016
The motorcycle will be unveiled on the first media day of EICMA 2016 while it has been spotted testing couple of times in Indian and Austria. The KTM 390 Duke is expected to carry these full LED headlamps along with the fully digital colored instrument console while the smaller KTM 200 Duke is expected to keep the older generation’s console above its handlebar.
The design changes are applicable on both the bikes, keeping the frame and alloys Black in 200 Duke and Orange in 390 Duke. The new frame is expected to be lighter than the first one, making it easy for the manufacturer to add the exhaust for Euro 4 emission norm fulfillment and thrilling sound.
Other expected additions to the flagship Indian Duke includes ride by wire technology with riding modes, bigger fuel tank, Michelin tyres and dual function forks. KTM 200 Duke is expected to get ABS as standard while it will share most of its parts with the bigger Duke. It may even become more powerful while much of the changes would be on its looks only. Apart from the changes, both the Dukes would get a considerable hike in price also. New Duke is expected to be launched in India by March/April 2017.
