KTM will be officially unveiling the 2017 RC Series in India on January 19, 2017. The event will take place in Pune and there has been no news regarding the launch of naked 2017 Duke series at that time. Although the bikes have been completely revealed, the pricing and actual looks for the same are still pending on the KTM side. Officially, the KTM website now reveals the 2017 RC 390 but RC200 is still stuck on the older 2016 version.

The new RC 390 gets mechanical + visual upgrades, while RC 200 gets a new shade and it doesn’t get any mechanical upgrades and KTM has still not equipped the RC 200 with ABS (Anti-lock Braking System). 2017 KTM RC 200 gets all-new White shade with striking Orange graphics + Black inserts on the fuel tank and the headlight fairing.
The bike continues to be powered by a 199.5cc liquid-cooled engine, which generates maximum power of 25 PS (24.65 Bhp) @ 10,000 rpm and maximum torque of 19.2 Nm @ 8,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike continues to be equipped with a 300mm front disc brake and 230mm rear disc brake.
Sadly, KTM has still not equipped the new model of RC 200 with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). At present, the RC 200 is priced at INR 1.69 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the new model is expected to similarly priced as there are no mechanical upgrades.
2017 KTM RC 390 now comes with a combination of Orange, Jet Black and Grey on its fairing. The fuel tank is finished in Jet Black while the parts under the rear seat are now finished in Orange with White inserts and RC 390 branding. The inner Orange panel was actually Black on the first shade and looks the most amazing components from all others. The side exhaust can also seen on the RC 390, which has been fitted to the international models before also.
2017 RC 390 continues to be powered by 373.3cc liquid-cooled engine, it generates 43.5 PS of maximum power at 9,000 rpm and the bike now generates 36 Nm of maximum torque at 7,000 rpm. The engine is now Euro4 and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The 2017 model also gets ride-by-wire technology and slipper clutch.
The 2017 RC 390 gets bigger 320mm disc brake and rear continues to be equipped with a 230mm disc, the bike is also equipped with dis-engageable BOSCH ABS. The 2017 model of RC 390 is expected to be priced slightly higher in comparison to the last-gen model. The new model is expected to priced at INR 2.25 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
