KTM 125 Duke ABS has been launched in India for INR 1.18 lakh (ex-showroom). The most-affordable Duke of all time, this aggressive machine is using a 124.7cc, single cylinder engine producing 14.5 PS of maximum power at 9250 rpm and 12 Nm of torque at 8000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The design of the 125 Duke is similar to KTM 200 Duke while the list of equipment is also shared between both the bikes. The model is expected to sell in huge numbers, fulfilling the intention of every rider with a limited initial budget.
The limited power variant is also an amazing option for buyers who need to get their skills sharpened on a decent bike. The use of USD front forks and similar monoshock helps in excellent handling while 110-section and 150-section tyre add traction and beefed-up looks to the package. The motorcycle comes with 1-channel ABS as standard, offering buyers with a chance to explore safe braking through the 300mm front and 230mm rear disc brake. The high 148 kg weight is a result of frame sharing between both the bikes. It offers 175mm of ground clearance for stress-free riding.
KTM 125 Duke measures 1,993mm in length, 789mm in width and 1,083mm in height. The wheelbase measures 1,366mm. The seat height is a bit higher at 818mm. The model carries 10.2-liter fuel tank from the first generation Duke. KTM is offering impressive fuel tank graphics, Orange alloy wheels and three impressive shades (Orange, White, and Black). The INR 42,000 of price gap between 125 Duke and 200 Duke ABS will definitely help the brand gain bigger numbers than ever. The price-wise rivals for KTM 125 Duke includes Yamaha FZ25 and Pulsar NS200 ABS.
