KTM 390 Adventure Price Increased: In addition to increasing the prices of the RC and Duke series motorcycles, KTM India has also increased the price of the 390 Adventure by INR 5,000 in India. The adventure motorcycle was launched in the Indian market back in January this year with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 2.99 lakh while the new price tag stands at INR 3.04 lakh.
Mechanically, the KTM 390 Adventure is powered by the same engine as in the 390 Duke. The 373.2cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine is capable of producing 44 HP of maximum power and 37 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It was expected that KTM will tune the engine differentially to make the bike more adventure specific but, in comparison to the 390 Duke, the brand has not made any changes to the power and torque output.
The adventure motorcycle is equipped with a 100/90-19 front tyre and a 130/80-17 rear tyre. Talking about the comfort, the seat of the bike looks wide and high whereas the distance between the tyre and rear seat confirms extended suspension travel on the brand’s latest adventure motorcycle. Moreover, the 390 Adventure has got an ample amount of ground clearance, which stands at 200mm. The seat height of the motorcycle is 855mm whereas the fuel tank capacity is 14.5-litres.
Like the 390 Duke, the KTM 390 Adventure is also equipped with an all-digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity. In terms of braking, the motorcycle is equipped with a 320mm front disc brake and a 230mm rear disc brake, which are further mated to a disengageable Bosch 9M+ dual-channel ABS unit. The suspension travel stands at 170mm for the front wheel and 177mm for the rear wheel. The motorcycle is also equipped with switchable Traction Control System (TCS).
