White KTM Duke 390 Mistakenly Sold in India

White KTM Duke 390 Mistakenly Sold in India

2017 KTM 390 Duke was recently launched for INR 2,25,730 in India and it is undoubtedly the best motorcycle around its segment. A fact that’s even more interesting is that it can be bought in just Orange shade and the White units sold were only for export purpose. Mistakenly, the White units were loaded into a local distribution truck and sold under the Limited Edition tag in India. Those were Euro spec models and now would be running on the Indian roads for rest of their lives. The buyers were really lucky to get their hands on these units as KTM won’t be selling the same in the near future for the Indian market.

2017 Duke 390 is currently the flagship motorcycle in the company lineup. Its recent price tag is even higher than the race spec RC 390 as KTM has added all-new features into the street fighter. The 373.2 cc, single cylinder engine has been differently tuned on the new 390 Duke, pushing out a max of 43.5 PS at 9000 rpm and 37 Nm at 7000 rpm. The engine is BS4 compliant and carries the highest torque value available among all other KTM motorcycles. The weight, however, went up to 163 kg on the 2017 variant.

Some features on the new model are exclusive to itself and are not offered on any other KTM model in India. The all-new TFT instrument console with colored display can even help the rider connect his/her phone with the motorcycle. It gets an all exclusive new LED headlight. Important features that it shares with the RC 390 includes ride by wire throttle, 320 mm front disc brake, dual channel ABS and Metzeler tyres. KTM now offers a bigger 13.5 liter steel fuel tank on the 2017 KTM 390 Duke.
