KTM RC200 Red Bull Edition has been officially unveiled in Indonesia. The motorcycle is seen with a huge bull moniker on the side fairing, extending its tail and feet into the fuel tank and getting the Red Bull branding under the same. The upper section of the fairing is yellow while KTM moniker can be seen within the orange area.
The frame and wheels are orange while the suspension has been left black for the front and white for the rear monoshock. KTM RC200 is now available with single channel ABS in India and getting the special edition model seems impossible due to KTM’s lack of interest in bringing limited production models to the Indian market. The manufacturer even retails a limited number of shades for every existing model in the lineup.
The motorcycle has been cosmetically-enhanced for Red Bull promotions while output and electronic systems remain the same as the stock version. The 199.5cc single cylinder engine is good for 25 HP of maximum output and claims around 140 kph of top speed. The track-friendly handling and straight road sprinting ability of the RC200 is unmatched to the segment rivals.
The stock model of the RC 200 ABS is available at INR 1.90 lakh in India, and the next-gen design update for the KTM RC 390 will bring an update to the compact machine through EICMA in November 2019. The current-gen model lacks nothing but, the design profile has started showing its age in front of indirect rivals like the TVS Apache RR 310. With the help of an experienced wrap-artist, KTM RC 200 Red Bull edition can be created in India too. The front visor also carries the Bull logo of the energy drink brand.
