As per the latest details available, KTM has officially made it clear that they have no plans to launch the 250cc Duke and RC in India. The brand made this announcement at the launch event of 2017 RC 200 and RC 390. The reason being that the development costs would be too high, and if KTM plans to bring the Duke 250 and RC 250 to India, they would be priced very close to the 390 series and will cannibalize on the sales of Duke 390 and RC 390. The next launch by KTM for the Indian market is 2017 model of Duke 390 and Duke 200. Both of them are expected to be launched here in March and deliveries are expected to start from April 2017.
