KTM recently launched the RC 125 in India with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 1.47 lakh. The entry-level supersport motorcycle has started reaching the dealerships across India. The bookings are now open with a token amount of INR 5,000 while the deliveries are expected to begin next month. The fully-faired sports motorcycle gets INR 17,000 higher price tag than its naked sibling Duke 125, which is available for INR 1.30 lakh.
Competing in the market with the likes of other full-faired motorcycles like Yamaha YZF-R15 V3 and the Bajaj Pulsar RS200, the KTM RC 125 racing motorcycle costs INR 8000 higher when compared to its competitors. The India-spec model of the sportbike is available in 2 colours: Orange with Black and White with Black, offering the motorcycle a unique presence on the road.
KTM RC 125 is powered by a 124.7cc, single cylinder liquid cooled engine capable of churning out a maximum power of 14.5 HP at 9,250 rpm and an utmost torque of 12 Nm at 8,000 rpm. The engine has been mated to a 6-speed gearbox and the motorcycle is equipped with a single channel ABS unit as standard.
