If we talk about the next-gen model of KTM Duke 390, it is expected to launch in India this year and it has also been spotted testing on the European roads. Here are the spy photos of the 2022 KTM Duke 390:
Coming to the major updates offered to the next-gen model of Duke 390, the naked streetfighter now features a brand-new swingarm with a side-mounted monoshock. In addition to that, the 2022 model is also equipped with new side panels, new rear-view mirrors, a new exhaust system, new 5-spoke alloy wheels, a newer version of the brand’s trellis frame and the composite subframe. Overall, the design of the next-gen Duke 390 is now more inspired by the mighty 1290 Super Duke R.
Mechanically, the 2022 KTM Duke 390 is expected to generate slightly more power and torque. For your reference, the current-gen model is powered by a BS6-compliant 373.2cc liquid-cooled DOHC single-cylinder engine, which is capable of offering maximum power of 43.5HP and a peak torque of 37Nm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed transmission mated to a slipper clutch.
In terms of availability, the new model of Duke 390 is expected to go on sale in India later this year and it would most probably be getting a slight price hike of around INR 10,000 to INR 15,000.
