Production-Ready 2022 KTM RC 390 Spotted: The next-gen model of KTM RC 390 is one of the most-awaited sportbikes in India. Ahead of the official launch, the production-ready model of 2022 KTM RC 390 has been spotted undisguised for the very first time. It was spotted by the automotive enthusiast Albin Antony. The all-new design of the upcoming KTM RC sportbikes is in the news for a long time now. Most of the KTM fans (including us) didn’t like the overall looks of the new models. The current-gen RC sportbikes are much better in terms of looks and they have a more proportionate design in comparison to the upcoming models. Here is the first-ever undisguised photo of the 2022 KTM RC 390:

Going by the design, the next-gen RC 390 features an all-new front fascia, side fairing and most importantly, the frame under its body. The sportbike now features the same mainframe as the KTM 390 Duke, covered partially under the new fairing and finished in a dark grey shade. The tyres, suspension, and exhaust look more or less similar to the current-gen model of the RC 390.

As expected, KTM will replace the ageing instrument console of the RC 390 with the modern TFT unit from the 390 Duke. There are thin chances of modification to that console as it is already feature-loaded and comes with smartphone connectivity, automatic brightness adjustment, and it displays a lot of useful information.

The current-gen model of the KTM RC 390 is good for 44HP of maximum power and 36Nm of peak torque. The next-gen model will come equipped with an updated engine and the torque figure may get a bump in performance as Duke 390 is good for 37Nm of torque.

In terms of pricing, the current ex-showroom price tag of the KTM RC 390 stands at INR 2.66 lakhs, which is lower than Duke 390’s price tag of INR 2.76 lakhs. With all the additions and updates, the new model of the RC 390 is expected to get a price tag of around INR 2.80 lakhs (ex-showroom).
