KTM India recently announced that 60 percent of total bikes are sold in South Indian states and Maharashtra. It is widely believed that sport bikes are sold more in the North region (Punjab, Delhi). KTM says that most of the buyers from the Southern side are youth and they are more aware in the world of biking than rest of India. KTM bikes are priced between INR 1.43 lakh to INR 2.25 lakh while only five models are retailed currently through the local production route.
