The first ever KTM 125 Duke for India was delivered by the Bangalore dealership. The example was finished in Orange shade and uses the familiar design with underbelly exhaust in the country. Dealers all across the country are accepting bookings for the most affordable model, carrying a price tag of INR 1.18 lakh for the only variant with single-channel ABS as standard.
The model is more like a replica of the old generation 390 Duke, carrying a smaller engine for this effective price tag. It will definitely help the buyers fulfill their Duke dream with a much better starting price. In terms of the exhaust sound note, the 125cc Duke sounds quite similar to its elder sibling 200 Duke. Here is the delivery video of the first KTM 125 Duke in India.
The 124.7cc, single cylinder engine is good for 14.5 HP of maximum power and 12 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. KTM is offering the motorcycle with a 10.2-liter fuel tank, underbelly exhaust and impressive seating.
Unlike the international model, this version comes with a familiar console (shared with Duke 200) and single-channel ABS. The most powerful Duke with the 373cc engine has a different design, dividing first two and upper two models on the basis of design. KTM was expected to upgrade the design for 200 Duke but with the launch of 125 Duke, the same will stay identical for effective part sharing.
