BS6 Mahindra Mojo 300 Officially Teased: Putting all the speculations and rumours to an end, Mahindra has officially posted a teaser image of the BS6 Mojo 300 on its social media channels. The teaser image says: “Coming Soon #NewGemsInYourCrown – Mojo 300 ABS – BSVI Compliant”. In terms of the design, the BS6-compliant model will stay more or less the same when compared to the BS4 model though the brand is expected to introduce new shades to impart a fresh look to the BS6 version.
Mahindra Mojo 300 is one of the most underrated motorcycles from the brand that currently lags the attention it very well deserves. Despite having a neo-retro design language, the motorcycle never clicked like some of the other products in its segment.
The last update the 300cc motorcycle got was in the form of a 2-channel ABS unit and it was launched with a price tag of INR 1.89 lakh (ex-showroom). One can expect the BS6 Mahindra Mojo 300 to get a price hike of around INR 5,000 to INR 7,000 in comparison to the BS4 model.
To jog your memory, the BS4 Mahindra Mojo was powered by a 295cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder DOHC engine that was capable of churning out a maximum power of 26HP and a peak torque of 28Nm. The engine was mated to a 6-speed transmission. The BS6-compliant model of the Mojo 300 is expected to generate similar power and torque figures.
