BS6 Mahindra Mojo Garnet Black Officially Revealed: After teasing the upcoming BS6-compliant model of the Mojo 300 a few days ago, Mahindra has now officially revealed the production-spec model of the bike on its social media channels. The brand has unveiled the bike in an all-new ‘Garnet Black’ colour combination which features deep black as the primary shade while some parts of the bike have been painted red to add a sporty touch. As expected, in terms of the design, the BS6-compliant model stays more or less the same when compared to the BS4 model.
Mahindra Mojo 300 is one of the most underrated motorcycles from the brand that currently lags the attention it very well deserves. Despite having a neo-retro design language, the motorcycle never clicked like some of the other products in its segment.
The last update the 300cc motorcycle got was in the form of a 2-channel ABS unit and it was launched with a price tag of INR 1.89 lakh (ex-showroom). One can expect the BS6 Mahindra Mojo 300 to get a price hike of around INR 5,000 to INR 7,000 in comparison to the BS4 model.
To jog your memory, the BS4 Mahindra Mojo was powered by a 295cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder DOHC engine that was capable of churning out a maximum power of 26HP and a peak torque of 28Nm. The engine was mated to a 6-speed transmission. The BS6-compliant model of the Mojo 300 is expected to generate similar power and torque figures.
