Mahindra Mojo ABS Price Leaked Ahead of Launch: Mahindra is all set to make an official launch announcement for its 2019 Mojo 300 with dual-channel ABS soon. The price tag of the updated Mojo 300 has leaked online before its official launch.
The 2019 Mahindra Mojo 300 will be priced at INR 1.88 lakh (ex-showroom, Bangalore). The new price tag is INR 4000 higher than the retail price of Mojo XT 300 when it was available in India. The price range has been revised considering the increase in manufacturing cost and equipping the motorcycle with 2-channel ABS.
Powering the updated Mahindra Mojo 300 is the same 294.72cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine, which now offers a maximum power of 26.29 PS at 7,500 rpm in comparison to the 27.19 PS and 23.11 PS generated by Mojo XT 300 and Mojo UT 300 respectively. The Mahindra Mojo 300 with 2-channel ABS offers a peak torque of 28 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The engine will be mated to a 6-speed transmission.
The suspension duties are handled by the same telescopic forks at the front with 143.5mm of travel and a monoshock rear absorber capable of 135mm of travel that does the duty on the Moto UT 300. The 320mm disc brake at the front and 240mm disc brake at the rear of the motorcycle are now equipped with ABS for additional safety.
One of the significant changes made to the updated motorcycle is the use of brake callipers sourced from ByBre that replaces the J.Juan braking hardware. The motorcycle uses Pirelli Angel CT tyres while the twin headlights from the Mojo are retained on the 2019 model though the LED DRLs remains missing.
The bike will be offered with fuel injection technology as standard due to upcoming BS6 norms. The brand has equipped the updated Mojo 300 with single barrel exhaust borrowed from the UT 300 that will replace the twin exhaust seen on the XT 300.
The 2019 Mahindra Mojo 300 is 2115mm long, 800mm wide and 1150mm tall. The ground clearance stands at 165mm while the bike gets a fuel tank capacity of 21 litres. The seat height of 815mm is perfect for touring for the riders of varying heights. Once launched, the 2019 Mahindra Mojo 300 will compete with the likes of 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400, BMW G310R, KTM 250 Duke and Honda CB300R in the Indian market.
