Mahindra to set-up exclusive showrooms for Mojo 300

Mahindra Mojo is a potential product and nothing else could be better for the motorcycle to have its exclusive showrooms around the country. Mahindra has officially announced that they will launch two Mojo based products soon in India while the sales and service department would be handled by independent dealerships all over India. The premium feel of the motorcycle would further shine bright through products that are equally capable to the tourer friendly machine.

They have not yet announced that when all this process will start but most of the sources say that it will be executed in a phased manner throughout India. The two new motorcycles will share their platform with Mojo while they will flaunt different character through their bodywork and function specific approach. Apart from them, an affordable version of Mahindra Mojo, carrying single exhaust, non-Pirelli tyres and conventional front forks has also been seen on test at various occasions.

Mahindra Mojo is powered by a 295cc, liquid cooled and fuel injected engine producing 26.82 BHP and 30 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox while the bike weighs quite high at 182 kg. It still claims a 9.5 second sprint to 100 kmph and costs INR 1,70,000 for the only available non-ABS variant. It is well known for the use of premium components like USD forks, dual exhaust and Pirelli tyres. Mojo rivals RE Himalayan and Bajaj Dominar in the Indian market.

Mojo Scramber 300

Mahindra could offer the production variants for those two concept that were showcased at Auto Expo 2016. If that comes out to be true, a Scrambler version and an adventure version will soon join the Mojo lineup alongside the regular variant. This will help Mahindra in keeping the overall cost for the bikes low and flaunt their expertise in motorcycle modification. All the machines will actually share the basic parts like frame, fuel tank and exhaust design while other parameters may vary with the varying design.
