New BSA Motorcycle is Coming! As Mahindra has acquired the vintage motorcycle brands BSA and Jawa, expectations for the launch of a full fledged motorcycle from these two brand names in the coming years is a feasible idea.
Recently, Anand Mahindra, Chairman of the Mahindra Group, tweeted about a shiny new BSA bike for Santa Claus, indirectly hinting at a resurrection of the classic design with a performance filled heart.
The brand has strict fan following across the world, known for the reliable and high performance machines, which were always ahead of time.
Digital Artist JAKUSA Design created this beautiful rendering, depicting the company’s premium offering, Mojo as a base for the classic BSA machine.
Using the vintage BSA headlight and fuel tank, Mojo turns completely into a motorcycle from another world, even leaving behind its stepped seat for a classic flat one on the rendering.
They will try keeping all the aspects alive from the generation old BSA design language to create a nostalgic feel among die hard fans.
Coming back to this beautiful rendering, all other components have been kept at the place, painting those golden ribs black and using the dual exhaust on the BSA also.
Mahindra actually need to work on branding issues as BSA cycles may not let them enter straight way in India while JAWA would definitely make it into the country in a short span of time.
The Jawa branded motorcycles will be built in Pitampur plant of Mahindra and would be sold in India as well as neighboring countries like Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
The company first started operations in 1929 and can relive the moments under the excellence of Mahindra Engineering for certain restricted markets.
No official statement was issued for the launch period of these excellent vintage machines. Mahindra also owns 51% stake in Peugeot Motorcycles of France.
