1) Honda CBR250RR
Honda has finally unleashed the most-awaited twin-cylinder motorcycle in Indonesia on July 25. Known as CBR250RR it would be competing with the likes of Kawasaki Ninja 300 (Ninja 250 outside India), Hyosung GT250R, and Yamaha R3. As of now, Honda has no plans to launch the CBR250RR in India but they might consider it at a later stage. Honda has not revealed the exact power and torque figures, the bike is expected to generate maximum power of 35-38 Bhp with max. torque of 26-29 Nm. The expected price tag for CBR250RR is Rs 3.50-3.75 lakhs (ex-showroom). It would be available in 3 shades: Racing Red, Grey Metallic, and Matt Black.

2) BMW G310R
BMW’s most affordable offering for the world would soon launch in the Indian market. It is expected to launch in a few days and would carry a mind blowing price tag due to its manufacturing in India (TVS production facility). It is powered by a 313 cc, liquid cooled and fuel injected producing 33.6 BHP and 28 Nm of torque.

3) Bajaj Pulsar CS400 (Kratos)
Bajaj is heavily testing this excellent piece of technology these days and would be soon launching this in the Indian market. It has been revealed in the 2014 Auto Expo but the production version will lose the USD telescopic forks. It is hinted to launch in July-September period and would be the most powerful Pulsar ever made with its 373.2 cc engine.

4) Kawasaki Ninja 250SL
The volume generator for Kawasaki faired sport bikes is still not available in India. It carries a neat fairing and that typical Kawasaki Green can easily place it above bikes like RC200 and CBR250R. It is powered by a 249 cc engine producing 27.62 BHP and 22.6 Nm of torque. Ninja 250SL claims a top speed of 153 kmph and carries a single headlight design.

5) Suzuki Gixxer 250 (GSX-250R)

7) TVS Apache RTR 300 (Akula 310)
TVS Apache RTR 300 or the Akula 310 (concept name) would be the most powerful and impressive product from TVS. It is based on the BMW G310R and carries the same engine with a different tune. 8) Yamaha M-Slaz 150
Yamaha’s 150 cc street fighter is a perfect product for India as it can be a base for the third generation of R15 while selling independently with features like USD forks, LED headlights and a lightweight aggressive body. Hero’s rival to the CBR250R, the HX250R has been in many stages of development since last few years. The motorcycle was shown in this year’s Auto Expo but no announcement for its actual launch date was made at the event. It is powered by a 249 cc engine and produces 31 BHP at 9000 rpm and 23 Nm of torque at 7000 rpm. Weighing just 139 kg, it could be the most powerful 250 cc motorcycle of India.

10) Bajaj Pulsar SS400
The CS400 cousin is a fully faired 373.2 cc machine with same styling as RS200. It was expected to arrive before the CS400 but now the thing have gone completely different. Bajaj Pulsar SS400 is expected to be more powerful than the cruiser sport cousin and may come with full time ABS and other safety features. The launch date has not been disclosed yet.

11) Bajaj Pulsar NS200 (Re-launch)/NS200 Fi
Bajaj is said to re-launch the 200 NS with fuel injection in the coming days. The engine configuration would be the same as Pulsar RS200 while the lightweight naked body would perform much quicker than its cousin. It also adds the chances of an AS200 based on the same engine. Benelli may launch the fully faired version for its currently selling TNT 300 in India. A very beautiful bike named Tornado 300 is Benelli’s plan for taking over the sales from Yamaha R3 and Ninja 300.
