Moto Guzzi and exclusivity go hand in hand on most occasions. The production version of V85 TT is another example of how brands can use their expertise to create really impressive products with praiseworthy finish and loads of practicality. The concept was first seen at EICMA 2018 with Tutto Terreno (all terrain) moniker and thus, gets TT in its name. Similar to most adventure bikes, Moto Guzzi V85 TT comes with large fuel tank, adjustable windscreen and spoke wheels with dual-sport tires. The paint scheme seen here is equally fascinating, using a perfect balance of dual tone fuel tank, red frame and protectors and silver finished under-body protectors.
The shaft drive machine comes with a reworked V-Twin engine from V9, producing 80 hp of maximum power to the rear wheel. The front USD forks and rear monoshock are a perfect combination for all tough terrains, further getting support from the wired wheels with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear diameter. Moto Guzzi is expected to launch the same in the UK early next year for £11,000 (INR 10.50 lakh approx) while the Indian market may take a longer duration for the introduction of this model. Moto Guzzi is a part of the Piaggio group and retails through the Motoplex dealership network in India.
Electronic features on the V85 TT includes traction control, ABS and full-color TFT with Bluetooth connectivity and cruise control settings. It rivals Triumph Tiger 800 and BMW F850GS in this segment. The limitation of Moto Guzzi bringing most products through the CKD route may not let them price V85 TT in the right slot. The fit and finish around the engine bay, along with the carefully selected color pattern, make this motorcycle a worthy competitor of the endurance riding segment. It comes with a huge fuel tank, leaving buyers a chance to explore those routes that were always missed for the sake of safe riding.
