Meet Moto S450RR: Replica of BMW S1000RR Superbike

Moto S450RR – Replica of BMW S1000RR Superbike: Chinese automotive brands are quite popular when it comes to copying designs of expensive cars and bikes. Continuing with the same trend, a Chinese two-wheeler brand by the name ‘Moto’ has launched a new sports bike in Vietnam that looks like a cheap replica of the mighty BMW S1000RR superbike.

Known as Moto S450RR, the twin-cylinder motorcycle sports a similar front fascia, instrument console, side fairings, and rear-view mirrors when compared to the 2021 BMW S1000RR. The rear end design of Moto S450RR is different from the S1000RR and it seems to be quite similar to the Kawasaki Ninja 300.

All in all, it is a pure copy of 2-3 popular bikes with major components copied from the BMW S1000RR. Moto has even copied the design of BMW Motorrad’s circular logo which features blue, black, and white colours. Here is the live photo gallery of Moto S450RR:

Mechanically, the Moto S450RR is powered by a 450cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine, which is good for a maximum power of 24 HP @ 6500 rpm along with a peak torque of 22 Nm @ 7000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Coming to the hardware components, the sports bike is equipped with USD front forks and a monoshock rear suspension. It features disc brakes at either end which have been further mated to a dual-channel ABS unit as standard. In terms of pricing, the bike has been launched in Vietnam with a price tag of 50 million Vietnamese Dong (INR 1.59 lakh, approximate).
