The 2020 MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR has been recently revealed by the Italian manufacturer at a price tag of €29,900 (Rs 23.60 lakhs). The motorcycle has been unveiled a year after the launch of the Brutale 1000 Serie Oro limited-edition, which is currently available in the Europen countries with a higher price tag of €42,990 (Rs 33.94 lakhs).
Coming to the RR version of the naked sports machine, the motorcycle is powered by the same 998cc, four-cylinder engine that does duty on the MV Agusta F4 RC. The engine is capable of churning out a maximum power of 208HP @ 13,000 rpm and a peak torque of 116.5Nm @ 11,000 rpm. On the other hand, the 1000 Serie Oro naked motorcycle is good for churning out 212HP of maximum power output.
In terms of design, the motorcycle features various similar bits as that of its limited-edition Serie-Oro variant though the major carbon-fibre wheels and titanium bolts have been left out for the RR variant. The motorcycle now features forged aluminium wheels in addition to getting steel bolts and a full-LED headlight setup. The overall beast look of the motorcycle is further enhanced by a quadruple exhaust system in addition to the sharper body panels, unique oval headlamp design aligning towards the bottom.
The 2020 MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR features the same premium electronic package offered to the limited-edition variant. It includes up and down quick-shifter, launch control, 8-traction levels as well as four different riding modes.
MV Agusta has equipped the motorcycle with USD forks by Ohlins at the front adorned in the gold shade while the aero winglets mounted on the radiator further adds to stability at the higher speeds. The motorcycle features disc brakes with Brembo Callipers at either side.
The brand has promised the top speed of the motorcycle to stand above 300kmph. The motorcycle will compete in the market with the likes of Ducati Streetfighter V4, Kawasaki Z H2 and the upcoming 2020 model of the KTM 1290 Super Duke R.
