Bookings for BS4 compliant MV Agusta F3 800 are now officially open. Dealerships are now accepting bookings for a token amount of INR 4 lakh while deliveries will start from the first week of October. It was one of the earliest model to enter India and within a short period of time, became the most selling model in the company lineup.
The same story was true for BS3 variant while shifting to BS4 led to the discontinuation of this capable product. MV Agusta is currently working on homologation of the model and will soon launch the updated motorcycle in India. It was the most affordable motorcycle in the company lineup, carrying a price tag of INR 16.78 lakh. The next version may not be a much different story as reports estimate the same to get a price tag of around INR 17 lakh.
F3 800 falls in the SKD category and rivals other market leaders like 959 Panigale and Triumph Daytona 675R (also discontinued due to BS4 norms). F3 800 is well known for its impressive design and typical MV Agusta three nozzle exhaust system. The design takes inspiration from the bigger, liter class F4 and adds some personal bits for a unique presence.
The best part for F3 800 was its low 173 kg of dry weight, adding it into some of the best performing machines on road. The 798cc, three cylinder engine on the motorcycle is good for 148 HP at 13000 rpm and 88 Nm at 10,600 rpm. MV Agusta offers the best available technology along with lots of added safety for this best ever riding experience.
Brakes on this premium racer are sourced from Brembo while MV Agusta’s in house quickshifter further adds thrill to your track ride. F3 800 comes with Sachs rear shocks, Marzocchi 43 mm front USD forks, 16.5 liter fuel tank and a company claimed top speed of 269 kmph in closed driving conditions.
