MV Agusta F3XX Limited Edition is here with lighter than ever body, track-specific performance, and pure black finish to keep the profile filled with attitude at all times. The track-machine is hand-built and based on the same frame as F3 800, making it the most powerful middleweight machine that one can imagine for the elite races. Reparto Corse, the race division of MV Agusta has worked on the same to keep the visual similarities and take performance to the next level.
The first fact that can shock a regular rider is the dry weight of F3XX, tipping the scale at 145 kg. Yes, the same can be compared to regular 150cc bikes of India and overall, the power output gets a bump from standard output to 160 HP. The output makes the motorcycle good for a more impressive power-to-weight ratio than some of the renowned supercars of the world.
The custom SC Project 3-into-1 exhaust system helps in taking the power up to this level but at the same time, the new MV Agusta F3XX loses its road-legal status. The beautiful exhaust that can be seen on the stock version is not the only part missing here as indicators and other not-so-race-friendly parts are also missing from the motorcycle. The tires are sourced from Pirelli while braking and suspension setup used here remains the same as the stock version.
The maximum weight loss was seen from the chassis and visual parts while the loss of unsprung weight was achieved through the lightweight wheels. MV Agusta F3 800 is available for around INR 16.30 lakh in India while the track version has not revealed a price tag for itself. The standard version comes as a direct rival to the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R in India while indirect rivals include Ducati Panigale and SuperSport.
