According to the recent reports, the MV Agusta Superveloce Serie Oro has been sold out. The brand has reported that all the 300 units of the limited edition motorcycle have already been claimed.
Initially unveiled at the EICMA in 2018, the bookings for the motorcycle commenced in June 2019 while the deliveries for the MV Agusta Superveloce Serie Oro are expected to commence from March 2020. Officially claimed as the “most beautiful bike of the show” at EICMA 2018, the MV Agusta Superveloce 800 Serie Oro has been specifically designed to target a special set of customers.
The brand unveiled the motorcycle in Europe at a price tag of €27,990 (INR 21.97 Lakh approx). Only 300 units of the motorcycle were confirmed to hit the production line making it one of the special motorcycles to own. MV Agusta is likely to launch the bike officially at the EICMA in November 2019.
Though only 300 units of the limited edition motorcycle were confirmed to hit the market, the brand is planning on introducing more heritage-inspired motorcycles based on the same mechanism as that of the 800 Serie Oro.
Powering the MV Agusta Superveloce Serie Oro is an F3 800 inspired 798cc, liquid-cooled, triple-cylinder engine. This makes the limited edition superbike good for a maximum power of 148 HP and a maximum torque of 88 Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The company-claimed top speed for the motorcycle stands at 240 kmph.
The premium motorcycle features a red plus silver colour scheme with a red seat and a leather strip running down the fuel tank. In addition to this, the sportbike gets a yellow-tinted windscreen as well as a carbon fibre fairing. The MV Agusta Superveloce Serie Oro has been equipped with an SC-Project exhaust that gives it a distinguished look while the overall retro design language has been inspired from the 1970 MV Agusta race bikes.
EICMA 2018 also saw the unveiling of the MV Agusta Brutale 1000 Series Oro in addition to the Superveloce Serie Oro concept. The streetfighter is inspired by Brutale design by Massimo Tamburini. With a unique design and a powerful engine, the naked motorcycle enjoyed only 300 units of production making it another limited edition motorcycle by the brand.
