MV Agusta

MV Agusta F3 800 RC Launched in India @ INR 21.99 Lakh

MV Agusta F3 800 RC has been finally launched in India with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 21.99 lakh which marks it around INR 4 lakh premium over the standard model of the F3 800 sportbike. The standard F3 800 looks beautiful and this version of the bike looks even better with Agusta racing livery. The bike also gets a new pair of wheels, which looks absolutely stunning in red colour. The F3 800 RC also gets a dark theme on the side fairing which continues to be complemented by the Italian Tricolore graphics.

Mechanically, the bike continues to be powered by a 798cc triple cylinder engine, which generates a maximum power of 148 HP at 13,000 rpm and a peak torque of 88 Nm at 10,600 rpm. The bike comes featured with electronics such as ride-by-wire, four-riding modes, an eight-level traction control system, and a Bosch ABS unit with Race mode setting and rear wheel lift-up mitigation. The sportbike also gets an optional ‘Racing Kit’, which has been developed purely for the race track lovers.

The best part of the deal which will attract most buyers in India is that they will get the ‘Racing Kit’ as part of the purchase of the F3 800 RC. The buyers will get an SC Project Titanium and carbon fibre exhaust, a special ECU in order to run the uprated exhaust with special mapping and traction control settings for the ‘Race’ rider mode. It will also get plenty of small lightweight parts like a fibreglass pillion cowl, aluminium rear-seats, and aluminium brake as well as clutch levers. The ‘Racing Kit’ helps the F3 800 RC to generate 5HP of more power and shed 8kg of overall weight.

MotoRoyale has brought only 6 units of the MV Agusta F3 800 RC in the country. The paddock stand for the bike comes complementary as well as small commemorative pieces to certify that the buyer will be the one among the lucky ones to own this bike. If we talk about its suspension duties and braking performance, it shares the same components as F3 800. At this price range, one can opt for a litre-class motorcycle such as the Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade, Yamaha YZF-R1, Suzuki GSX-R1000R, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR, and the Ducati Panigale V4.
