Pure EV is a Hyderabad-based electric two-wheeler brand and it recently unveiled its new ecoDryft electric motorcycle. This e-motorcycle by the Hyderabad-based EV brand belongs to the daily commuter segment. And Pure EV has developed and manufactured this e-bike entirely in India.
Pure EV ETryst 350 electric motorcycle made it to the Indian market last year. But it is priced in the premium segment at Rs 1.55 lakh (ex-showroom). Pure EV will offer the ecoDryft e-motorcycle as an affordable offering. They are aiming it at people looking for a daily workhorse with lower operating costs than ICE commuters. We expect the price of the e-bike to be made public in January 2023.
Unlike existing electric motorcycles the ecoDryft appears to be quite simple in design. It has an angular headlamp surrounded by a minimalistic cowl, a spherical fuel tank, and a short tail. It will be available in four colours: Grey, Blue, Red, and Black.
Pure EV has revealed that the e-bike can reach a top speed of 75 km/h. And it has a range of 135 km thanks to its 3kWh AIS-certified battery pack. EcoDryft produces 4 BHP of power and 40 Nm of torque, and it is good for 0-60 km/hr in around 10 seconds.
Pure EV says it has the necessary inventory ahead of the ecoDryft’s launch and the start of bookings. The Hyderabad-based EV brand has dealerships in 100 cities across India. They plan to expand further in major cities in the coming years.
