According to a recent report from Moneycontrol, Okinawa Autotech is all set to enter the electric motorcycle market with the introduction of its debut bike in the coming months. The brand currently features electric scooters in its portfolio while the upcoming Okinawa electric bike will compete in the market with the likes of Revolt RV range though getting an affordable price tag.
The report also adds that the Okinawa electric bike will get a price tag in the sub-INR 1 lakh category, which will give it a competitive edge in the market in comparison to the Revolt RV400, which is available at a price tag of INR 1.47 lakh for the top-spec variant and INR 1.29 lakh for the lowest-spec variant. In addition to this, the RV300 gets a price tag of INR 1.11 lakh in the Indian market.
Commenting on the much-awaited launch of the electric motorcycle, Jeetender Sharma, Managing Director, Okinawa Electric Scooters, stated – “After the successful launch of the PraisePro electric scooter where we have got very encouraging bookings we are now looking to launch our first electric motorcycle.
