The upcoming Revolt motorcycle will be available with an artificial exhaust system, producing sounds similar to the regular motorcycles to keep the rider attached to the traditional two-wheeler riding experience. The sound will be monitored by the load on the electric motor, changing with different conditions. A recent teaser video from the brand also shows the rider choosing between single cylinder to four-cylinder mode. The Revolt e-bike will be the first electric motorcycle to feature LTE connectivity.
The motorcycle will feature certified mileage of 156 kilometres per charge while the top speed is limited to 85 kph for the product. As the design has already leaked through various photos, one can expect the motorcycle to stay exactly the same as the testing version. The Revolt e-Bike will feature USD (Upside Down) front forks, dual disc brakes, LED-powered lights and more.
The bike will feature the Electronic Control Unit (ECU), Battery Swapping System (BSS), and the Battery Management System (BMS) from the in-house production though, the motor and batteries have been imported from a Chinese brand. The brand is also planning to meet the localisation of their electric vehicles under the Fame II scheme, therefore, making the customers eligible for financial incentives.
According to the latest details available, the first electric motorcycle by Revolt Intellicorp will be priced around INR 1.20 Lakh though, the compensation of INR 25,000 under the Fame II scheme will bring the price tag under 1 Lakh mark. The brand is also planning on 100% localisation of their electric motorcycles by the year 2020. The first Revolt Motorcycle will launch in India on June 18, 2019.
