The first Revolt motorcycle is ready to take on the electric commuter segment and this recently spotted test mule confirms their intention to keep the styling factor high for their future customers. The first thing that’s different for electric motorcycles is the availability of side fairing on both naked as well as faired products, technically listing all of them in the full-faired section. This is done in order to keep the battery and motor section protected from the external factors. Unlike the conventional engines that allow cooling the system through the air, the battery setup has its own cooling system to maintain optimum working temperature for maximum efficiency.
The Revolt motorcycle is seen with a streetfighter-style headlight with LED daytime running lights at both the corners. The conventional forks were missed in favour of the precision-supplying USD forks, finished in silver on the test mule. The tire width looks decent in the first image while a single seat will guarantee more comfort for both the riders. The motor is expected to use an automatic gearbox as the left side shows no signs of a manual shifter on the motorcycle. The test mule was spotted in Gurgaon and will launch in India in June 2019. The final testing days are underway as changing temperatures have a different effect on battery-operated vehicles in comparison to the regular petrol-powered motorcycles.
Revolt motorcycle brings an all-digital console fitted near the standard comfort-oriented handlebar. It comes with dual disc brakes and the key slot is located on the fuel tank like most modern streetfighters. The camouflaged body hints at impressive sharp design lines for the upcoming electric motorcycle. The production is underway at the Manesar facility of Revolt Intellicorp and they are planning to take the number to 1.20 lakh units per annum once the product is launched successfully in most cities. The phase-wise distribution of dealer locations will favour metro cities for sure.
