The very famous Youtube Channel Dino’s Vault has come up with the first ride review of the recently launched Revolt RV400 electric bike. Regarding the motorcycle as the beginning of a revolution in India’s electric motorcycle range, the RV400 is unrivalled in its segment. The first ride review of the motorcycle by Dino’s Vault categorizes the bike as the start of the electrifying future.
The first AI-enabled electric motorcycle in India’s history, the Revolt RV400 gets a unique streetfighter design language. With a lightweight frame and the perfectly balanced swingarm, the motorcycle shrieks of perfection. The 19kg of the battery unit is centrally mounted in place of the fuel tank.
Powering the motorcycle is a 3kW motor while the RV400 has been equipped with a 3.24kW lithium-ion battery that promises a range of 150km in Eco mode, 100km in normal mode and 80km in sports mode. The battery requires a 15A regular socket for charging while takes 4.5 hours to be completely charged. The brand also ensures that the battery charges to 75% in just 3 hours of duration.
The suspension duties on the motorcycle are handled by USD forks at the front while the rear features a mono-shock suspension. The Revolt RV400 electric bike further features regenerative braking system, which has been used by the brand to prevent the loss of energy in addition to saving the brakes from wear and tear. The well lit up console further offers the rider with information on speed, riding mode, battery percentage, clock as well as the outside temperature.
In addition to Revolt RV400, the brand also launched the entry-level electric motorcycle variant Revolt RV300. Powering the motorcycle is a 1.5kW hub-mounted motor. The RV300 offers a range of 180km in Eco mode while the normal and sports mode promises a range of 110km and 80km respectively. The top speed varies in all the three riding modes.
The brand is also offering battery swapping stations for allowing the riders to swap their battery with a charged battery while one can also ask for home delivery of the same.
The riders can operate their electric motorcycles via the dedicated application which further offers complete riding dynamics. The base model of the Revolt RV400 can be availed by the customers at INR 3,499 per month for three consecutive years while the top-spec RV400 Premium can be availed at INR 3,999, to be paid every month for three years. On the other hand, the Revolt RV300 can be availed at a price tag of INR 2,999 per month for 37 consecutive months.
