Revolt RV400 Electric Motorcycle India Launch on August 7, 2019

Revolt Motors is all set to launch their upcoming RV400 electric motorcycle in India on August 7, 2019. Earlier, the motorcycle was expected to launch on July 22 but, as per the latest details available, the launch has been delayed by 2 weeks. The customers can now pre-book the motorcycle at a token amount of INR 1000.

The RV400 can be pre-booked online at Amazon or on the official website of Revolt Motors. The first fully-electric motorcycle for the Indian market will get a lot of industry-first features and will be initially available in Delhi followed by other metropolitan cities like Gurugram, Noida, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, and Chennai.

The Revolt RV400 electric motorcycle has been equipped with AI-based technology for real-time statistics, geo-fencing with theft protection as well as to accommodate the battery performance according to the riding capabilities. The bike features a hexagonal headlamp at the front that features LED daytime running lights. The fully-digital instrument console offers 4G connectivity for providing better management.

The electric motorcycle can be started by pressing the power button or using a remote ignition smart system via a dedicated Revolt application, a first for an electric bike in India. However, according to the latest details available, the brand will also be launching the voice command functionality in the future.

The Revolt RV400 will be available with four-artificial exhaust notes. The suspension duties are handled by upside-down forks at the front and a monoshock absorber at the rear. The electric motorcycle from Revolt gets disc brakes at either end and have been equipped with alloy wheels for a more premium look.

RV400 Electric Motorcycle

The official details for the powertrain have not yet been revealed by the brand though it claims an ARAI-certified range of 156km with a single charge. The removable battery can be charged fully in 4 hours via a 15 ampere supply. Once launched in India, the RV400 is likely to get a price tag of INR 1 Lakh though no confirmations have been made yet. The customers will be able to avail the electric motorcycle in Rebel Red and Cosmic Black colour options. The company-claimed top speed of the Revolt RV400 electric motorcycle stands at 85 kmph.
