Revolt RV400 electric motorcycle has been showcased for the Indian market. The electric mobility brand by Micromax has introduced the product in two different shades, Black and Red. The red shade has a hint of black in its finish while the motorcycle will be available for pre-bookings from June 25, 2019, through Amazon India and Revolt Motors website. The deliveries are expected to begin by the end of next month.
The brand has not yet announced the locations of physical presence while every feature of the motorcycle was described in the best possible manner at the launch event. The motorcycle is good for 85 kph of top speed and can be charged like a regular device with 156 kilometres of range.
Not just that, Revolt RV400 offers swap function for the battery at their swap stations or you can get the same home delivered too. However, the cities for this service were not mentioned at the launch event. The AI-powered motorcycle keeps trip history, brings battery life on the display in real time and even bring different sounds for different days of the week.
The basic sounds like Revolt, Roar, Rage, and Rebel are pre-installed on the same while buyers can choose between other sounds and download the same within no time. The design looks very proportionate as the e-bike offers a typical street bike look.
Revolt RV400 comes with USD front forks, LED indicators and lights, swappable battery and above all, offers sound-free riding when selecting the silence mode in the application. Once paired, every bit of information flows through both the phone and the motorcycle at the same time.
The alloy wheel design, dual disc brakes, and other features make RV400 a premium option in comparison to the existing street bikes. The power delivery seems impressive as the riders on the bikes showcased at the event were seen speeding the same in a short distance only. Revolt Motors has not revealed the pricing for the RV400, though we can expect it to be priced around INR 1.10-1.20 lakh.
