Revolt RV400 Gets 2500 Pre-Bookings; Now Also Available on Amazon

Revolt RV400 is all set to be launched in India on July 22, 2019. The price tag of the all-electric environment-friendly motorcycle is expected to be around INR 1 lakh (ex-showroom) though, the recently reduced GST implementations on the electric vehicles may allow the brand to price it less than that.

Revolt, the electric mobility brand by Micromax will be offering the electric motorcycle in two colour options, Black and Red. The motorcycle was expected to be available for pre-bookings from June 25 on the brand’s official website as well as on Amazon though, the brand failed to offer the motorcycle on Amazon India on the said date.

Now, after a gap of around 15 days, the pre-bookings for the Revolt RV400 are open on Amazon India where the customers can book the motorcycle with a token amount of INR 1000 which is entirely refundable. The brand has witnessed 2500 pre-bookings of the electric motorcycle till date making it one of the most practical choices for the riders looking for environment-friendly riding experience.

Taking inspiration from the style language of China’s Super Soco TS electric bike, the Revolt RV400 is said to achieve a maximum speed of 85 kmph. The bike offers an ARAI certified range of 156 kilometres and can be charged like a normal electric device.

The customers can swap the empty battery pack of the motorcycle at every swapping station for their ease of use without wasting many efforts. The official Revolt application allows the riders to monitor the battery levels, order new battery as well as look for the nearest swapping station.

The Revolt RV400 has been equipped with an all-LED headlight while for the suspension duties, the e-bike gets USD forks at the front and a mono-shock absorber at the rear. The motorcycle gets a fully digital instrument console that offers Bluetooth connectivity to help manage the controls via a smartphone. The mobile phone application also allows the rider to download new exhaust sounds as well as change the riding modes.

The motorcycle was not seen with ABS at the time of launch though, the presence of the same in the production variant is not yet confirmed as of yet. Revolt Intellicorp is also planning on introducing Bluetooth enabled helmet for the RV400 that will allow the riders to control various features via voice commands.
