Rieju Century 125 Officially Unveiled

Rieju Century 125 was recently unveiled in the international market. The Spanish firm has brought this retro modern scrambler for the European market. It looks more like a decent version of FB Mondial HPS 125 and just like its arch rival, the bike even shares the 125cc engine sourced from Aprilia RS4 125. Both the bikes will compete in same category within the same market. Century 125 is good for 15 BHP at 9750 rpm and 12.3 Nm at 7500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Top speed claim of 130 kmph is quite impressive for a 125cc motorcycle. The engine is smooth, refined and offers a wide range for the riders to explore its power. The rev limiter comes into action at 10,500 rpm. Rieju Century 125 will be built in Black and White shade option. It is inspired from the Rieju’s very own 175cc model of 1950’s carrying the same sort of design lines and impressive performance. It carries an 18 liter fuel tank, helping riders achieve a long range with even a decent mileage figure. The bike carries 135 kg of dry weight while seat height stays quite accessible at 790mm. Premium components on offer includes front 41mm USD forks, Petal disc brakes at both ends and dual rear shocks with pre-load reservoir. Front wheel on Rieju Century 125 is 18 inch while rear on use is 17 inch. Chances of Rieju and FB Mondial entering India are quite low as these brands would not be able to justify the pricing for their products at any cost. On the other side, Aprilia could be the first brand to offer such low displacement sport bikes in India.
