Royal Enfield is winning hearts all over India with its Classic series. The best seller from the company’s lineup, Classic 350 recently sold a total of 38,080 units in December 2016 while the full Pulsar lineup in competition (RS200, AS200, AS150, 220F, 180, 150 and 135 LS) sold just 32,252 units. The motorcycle is actually more expensive than any of the Pulsar and its surge in demand can be seen from the sales chart of last few months.
Even after many riders admit that Royal Enfield bikes have some built quality issues, the high sales number shows the strict fan following for the motorcycle brand. Bajaj Pulsar is one of the most selling sport bike series of India while Classic 350 overtook the Bullet 350 as the most selling retro modern machine in India. Bajaj Auto seems experimenting with the Pulsar series as they recently updated the lineup with new shades and BS4 compliant engines.

Royal Enfield even brought a new edition named ‘Redditch’ for the Classic 350. The motorcycle is now available in Red, Green and Blue Redditch Edition shades that primarily paints the fuel tank in the given shade and leaves rest of the body in Gloss Black. The seat on the special Edition is even finished with contrast White lining. The timeless design of the Classic 350 merges perfectly with the Redditch shades.
Classic 350 is powered by a 346 cc, air cooled engine producing 19.8 BHP and 28 Nm of torque. The motorcycle is the first choice of riders who need loads of power under the small twist of throttle. It comes with front disc brake, electric starter and wider tyres for impressive riding properties. Bajaj recently launched Dominar 400, the primary rival for the Classic 350 in India. It is priced at INR 1.36 lakh in India.
