2017 Royal Enfield Motorcycles with BS4 & AHO Launched [Complete Price List Inside]

Royal Enfield recently updated its complete lineup with auto headlamp on (AHO) and BS4 compliant engine. The changes have the made the complete list of RE motorcycles expensive by up to INR 4,000 and ready for lesser polluting competition. Royal Enfield’s starting price has gone up to INR 1.25 lakh (on-road Delhi) for Bullet 350 while its top spec Continental GT now costs INR 2.26 lakh (on-road Delhi). There has been no changes in the list of equipment as ABS and fuel injection are still missing from most prominent models.

The motorcycles are powered by a variety of engines, starting from the very basic 346 cc, single cylinder carburetor fed engine that is good for 19.8 BHP at 5250 rpm and 28 Nm at 4000 rpm. The same can be found on Bullet 350, Bullet ES, Classic 350 and Thunderbird 350. The bigger 499 cc, single cylinder engine is found in two different outputs, one claiming 26.1 BHP and 40.9 Nm (Bullet 500) and other producing 27.2 BHP and 41.3 Nm (Classic 500 and Thunderbird 500). The gearbox remains 5-speed on all motorcycles.

Royal Enfield offers two niche models for those who love wandering in the mountains and racing on the highways. The first is named Himalayan and comes with 411 cc, carburetor fed engine producing 24.5 BHP and 32 Nm of torque. The other is the most powerful Royal Enfield built ever and named Continental GT by its makers. The 535 cc, fuel injected engine on the same is good for 29.1 BHP and 44 Nm of torque. It weighs 184 kg and comes with premium Brembo brakes and Paioli suspension.
