2020 Royal Enfield Classic Leaked in a New Set of Photos

2020 Royal Enfield Classic looks like an upgraded dream version of the current-gen model, getting all the minor tweaks that fans wish to have in their RE bikes. The most recent set of leaked images shows the next-gen Classic carrying official accessories that will help the motorcycle prove its touring capability to the max.

The front is equipped with a huge transparent visor while the rear comes with a Thunderbird-inspired backrest for maximum pillion comfort. The seat now looks well-padded while the tail light design is totally different in comparison to the present generation model. The chrome caps are still present for the turn indicators.

The front and rear disc brakes will remain similar in size to the current-gen model while the disc placement has been changed for the rear tire. The chain and other mechanical parts have moved to the left side while the exhaust design and suspension finish remains highly similar to the current-gen Classic.

It seems like Royal Enfield will increase the fuel tank capacity with this update, also adding much-asked features like fuel level indicator and tachometer to the upcoming Classic series. The motorcycle you see here is also equipped with a massive leg guard and familiar chrome-wrapped, good-looking rear view mirrors.

The current generation Classic 350 is good for 20 HP of maximum power and 28 Nm of maximum torque, making the motorcycle a great option for those who need a high amount of torque for varying terrains. The 346cc single cylinder engine is expected to get more refined in nature as Royal Enfield will equip it with fuel injection to meet the BS6 emission norms.

The brand may also tune the engine to generate better power and torque figures. The 2020 Royal Enfield Classic features a different set of footpegs, with more visible surface area and even higher chances of getting vibration-absorbing materials.

2020 Royal Enfield Classic Spotted Testing Again

The current generation Classic 350 is available for INR 1.53 lakh with 2-channel ABS, and the next-gen model is expected to get a price jump of INR 10,000-15,000. The price hike will be smaller for the 2020 Classic 500 variants as they are already equipped with fuel injection. The 2020 Royal Enfield Thunderbird was also spotted testing in India earlier this year. You can click here for complete details and photos of the next-gen Thunderbird series.
