2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan Official Photo Leaked; Launch Soon

2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan Official Photo Leaked: The new Royal Enfield Himalayan is all set to launch this month and the launch date is set towards the end of January 2021. This new version will be coming just after the current model witnessed its last update while switching to the BS6 form.

The latest leaked photo shows that the studio shot is for the company’s website and it gives the RE Himalayan fans a peek at one of the new colour schemes. While one of the dual-tone colours looks white in the image, it is actually a light shade of silver, and the second colour is mostly black and in a clean matte finish.

The RE Himalayan is also expected to feature a new Pine Green shade for 2021. Whether it will be a dual-tone colour scheme or not, for that, we have to wait for the product to hit the market later this month. The rumours continue to suggest that Royal Enfield will discontinue its Snow White colour.

The earlier spy images revealed that the test mule of the updated Himalayan features an additional pod on the right-hand side of the existing digital-analogue instrument cluster. It is actually the same Tripper Navigation system which was introduced with the launch of Meteor 350. It features Google Maps along with the turn-by-turn navigation system.

Another main noticeable change witnessed in the spy images was in the metal frame that is mounted towards the front of the fuel tank. The current iteration suggests that the metal frame comes into the contact of tall riders and the company has addressed the said issue with its upcoming model by using a smaller, more forward-set frame. The new Royal Enfield Himalayan is set to be priced slightly higher than the current-gen model, which is priced between INR 1.91-1.96 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
